It was because of your influence that my mother, Nancy and I were afforded the opportunity to purchase him. THANK YOU for standing ring side to watch my final ride at the Regional Championships at Flintridge. Your support and encouragement meant more to me than you know. About Lord Albert
David found Lord Albert (Londonderry x Brentano II) at Steffen and Shannon Peters’ barn in October 2006. They showed together for the first time at Del Mar in April, winning the 5-Yr Old class with a score of 78%. They showed again at DG Bar in May, placing 2nd to Willy Arts' Valeska. The Flintridge selection trial was only Albert's third show with David!
David says “I loved his conformation, his gaits. He was a bit naughty, but his potential was so obvious, I decided I had to buy him. I just knew, if I could get him to focus and use his energy in a positive way, he could be brilliant. I bought Albert at the end of October, last year, and it took a while to get him to settle. Every day, I try to make sure to get him working over his back, swinging and loose. I only concentrate on reactions and transitions for a few minutes, towards the end of a schooling session. I really want him to stay happy in the work.”

Golly Gee David, I didn't know you had to raise money for the Germany trip. You should have told me that over the phone the other day! I'll make you a deal... when my mom gets back from Florida we will make a donation, but you better find me the best school master horse EVERRRR!!! :-) (No pressure) Hahaha. Have a Happy 4th of July.
